As we begin our adventures in Eorzea, I would like to extend a friendly hello to everyone who is interested in joining this Linkshell community. Liquid Sunshine is an LGBT friendly guild and is new to the world of Ultros. Liquid Sunshine refers to the weather phenomenon where the sun breaks through the clouds, but it's still raining . It's also referred to as sun showers. It happens all the time where I'm from and it's beautiful. The sky in La Noscea looked similar to a sun shower and that's where I drew inspiration for the guild name.
Everyone has different reasons for joining this community. This is my first MMORPG and my first guild. I had a great time playing the Beta 3 test with the friendly people on Ultros and decided to start a new guild rather than migrate to an existing guild on another server.
There will be a lot to learn. But as a community I believe we can thrive. Although I am somewhat new to MMORPGs, I pledge to do everything I can to help assist all players in our community in whatever challenges come before them. At some point we were all beginners, the only thing I ask is that each of us "pay it forward". The success of the Liquid Sunshine community depends on the involvement and contribution of each of its members.
Participation in Liquid Sunshine Events will not be mandatory. Players can participate when they have time. I have a life outside of the game and I do not believe that people should be punished because they have other responsibilities. Fun adventures will be had regardless, and the skill set of the community will grow over time as new people join.
