Hurray! FF XIV ARR is officially launched. Are you excited? I sure am! A few things as we start/continue journeying in Eorzea:
Log in issues There's a cap on how many people can sign in to the server at a time, and Square Enix hasn't had the forethought to boot AFK players after extended periods of inactivity. So my advice if you're having trouble logging in is to keep trying until you get in a queue. Leave the queue window open and eventually you will get logged in. If you don't want to go through this process every single time, you can choose to never log out. My opinion is that you should log-out to make room for other people if you're not playing, but the penalty for logging out suuuuuuuuuucks when you can't sign back in.
LS Business People are starting to sign up for the linkshell. It's amazing and exciting!! Currently there are 3 linkshell leaders in-game, but if you play game a lot, ask and you shall be promoted. I am also looking for two or three people to help with site admin. It grants you the god-like powers of approving new recruits and monitoring the forums. Fun stuff actually :)

Keep on trying! It took me half an hour to log in last time. My roomie over on Adamantoise took like 2 seconds, the bastard. Aaaaaand I got disconnected. So I'm gonna go eat something delicious and bad for me while I try to log in again.
